Red: Flame & Fable

Have you ever been lost in the woods?

For as long as she was alive, Red had only known the safety of her family's cottage, in a clearing in the woods. However, one day her father brings home something wicked, a floral curse which proceeds to destroy Red's picturesque childhood life. With her last breath of consciousness, Red's mother sends Red into the darkness of the woods with a strange lantern, she sends her to find "Abuela".

Corrupted wildlife is far from the only thing Red has to be wary of, as she has also attracted the attention of a large, shadowy wolf. What could this beast want from Red? What is the importance of this lantern? And who is this "Abuela" Red has not heard of before? With the light of her lantern, Red will expose the truths as she ventures deeper into this twisted tale.

In the current vertical slice of the game you: 

1. Navigate the terrifying dark woods
2. Pick flowers to fuel your lantern.
3. Light the lantern to see the path forward and spot threats
4. Attack, parry, and roll to defeat monsters
5. Surpass infested barriers by destroying lit keys
6. Find in-game objects with brief lore
